Do You Remember? The Rose Theater
September 25 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pmFree
Calling all moviegoers! Do you remember spending a day at the Rose Theater on Kids’ Day? Did you work in the projection room or at the concession stand? If so, we need your help!
On the evening of September 25 as a part of our Fall into History series, Do You Remember? The Rose Theater will be a moderator-led community conversation in which local “experts” will share their memories and experiences at Thomasville’s Rose Theater. Owned by the Nat Williams family and operated for several decades at the corner of Jefferson Street and Crawford Street, the Rose Theater was demolished in the early 1970s. You may have heard about our Do You Remember? The Rose Show held in April, which received an amazing response. We cannot wait to hear your memories of the Rose Theater!
We are in need of panelists to help us get the conversation going. If you or someone you know has a strong connection to the Rose, please contact us to join our panel of experts. To volunteer or recommend a panelist, please contact Amelia at 229-226-7664 or by email, firstname.lastname@example.org.
