Why should kids have all the summer camp fun? On Saturday, November 16, we will host a day camp for grown-ups at the Thomasville History Center’s Smith Homestead. Using our log house and kitchen, “campers” will work together under the supervision of History Center staff and volunteers to prepare a shared lunch on the hearth and experience hands-on activities designed to give 21st century adults a taste of 19th century log house living. Space is very limited. Please include the names of those attending in the notes section at checkout.
- Fried chicken
- Squash casserole
- Ice cream (churned by the campers)
